Subject: RE: Drainage district?

Wallis, TX
Ours has been around longer than I have so no help there.

I am in two counties, one has a district the other doesn't. All in all, the drainage is better in the county with the district. Problems we have with the drainage district, lack of cooperation/communication/working with, the county road and bridge personnel. I wish I had a dollar every time one tried to push the issue or problem to the other entity. We've had a few problems with drainage district personnel running over crops, spraying pasture by accident etc, they don't seem to care near as much as county employees whose boss is re-elected every four years.
