| Have a 2600. Very simple design. Very easy to work on or grease. If you turn short while planting, over time it puts more stress on the outside units and the units or coulters can break, but I bet other planters have this problem. It is easy to drive down the road, but it does bounce a lot- you have to slow down on bad roads. We try not to drive it down the road loaded with seed or liquid fertilizer because the frame has cracked in a few places.
Sometimes the outside drive wheel will not plant going over a terrace at an angle, so we just plant with the terraces if they are bigger ones. You should get new precision meters if the meters need to be replaced.
My brother and I are happy with it and would buy another one. The new bulk fill ones would be even better and I heard they flex more. | |
