Central Missouri | yes. we took off the rate assembly and mounted the hydraulic motor in the same spot. We control it with ag leader. You will need a jumper plug to go where the implement switch wiring goes to tell the planter it is planting or a way to engage the implement switch but we oil chains that very way. And with my 20/20 monitor I can do a preseason check in the shed. Also variable rate plant with it.
Before the hydraulic motor we used a drill and put a socket on the end of the hex shaft to drivew it so we could oil the chains.
