Ohio | I guess I'm the odd man out. I don't see anything wrong with cpvc. If you follow the proper guidlines of the manufacturer, it's a good product My uncle had a hardware 60 years ago. A plastic salesman sold him on stocking his store with this NEW invention to replace copper supply plumbing. Bottom line was 10 years later when my dad built my uncle a new home, my uncle told dad to use this plastic plumbing material he had on hand. Yet today my uncle chuckles about this, says that he couldn't give the material away because no one would trust it. That was 50 years ago and it has worked flawlessly too this day. That flexable pipe had it's problems in it's startup too. Feeding thru floor joists would be a definite advantage, that and freezing. | |
