Subject: JD 1770 planter cleanup

Dayton, IA
Parked planter in shed when finished planting and finally getting back to cleaning it up. The old 1770 had plugs on the end of the vac tubes you pulled off and it cleaned the junk out of the vac tubes. How do you clean out the tubes on the new planter with the steel vac tube with sealed ends? Do you unbolt the end cap and then reseal it when you are done, or do you get enough air flow by pulling off several row unit tubes? any other tips for cleaning up a CCS planter? Probably just going to blow it off with air and call it good, used to powerwash but after several months in the shed it is dusty again anyway.
