I've heard that yields out of Texas were only 9-12bu/ac, norm being 20bu on dryland, many producers didn't even bother combining but letting it go to the grazing. Seems as harvest moves north to your next of the woods , rapid fashion/week ahead of schedule, denotes a chronic shortage in the mix thus folks in pursuit of your crop. I'd make'em come begging.
