Manitoba | last few years have been tough on our alfalfa stands (wet) and 1st cut this year is really poor. While cutting today I was thinking about what I should try to improve yields and was wondering what you guys growing alfalfa for forage are doing regarding fertilizer application and what works for you. Our stands are mostly alfalfa but we do throw a little timothy in to fill in drown out spots. But it's mostly the alfalfa I am concerned with. thanks, martin | |
