KY | Had 2 small fields that add up to 25 acres thay needed to be sprayed prior to canopy, was supposed to rain tonight so I got after it early this morning. Got over the first 16 or so and moved to the other field, had to break away for a bit and got back to it, clouds rolled up in a hurry and it started to sprinkle as soon as I started into the end rows. I saw the clouds coming and mixed a little heavier and cut my rate down to 8 gal / acre, as I was finishing the last two passes, it began raining a little harder, but not a true hard rain. So, with a 2 hr rainfast spraying touchdown, I know the first field will likely be alright since it had well over an hour to set up, and have heard of folks spraying in a light rain and getting a good kill.. What are your opinions on this? I put down the full 2 qts of Aatrex the day after it was planted and there is very little there, but would like to get rid of what is while the getting is good. | |
