| Asking myself the same question. Sold some this morning on fear the chance at $8 locally is slipping away. We're nearly finished with our harvest in SC Kansas and have been surprised by yields. Wheat we feared would make 30-40 bushels made 60 to even 70 bushels. Don't know why, but it happened. Test weights of load after load topped 65 pounds. May not happen outside our area, but if it does then there is far more wheat in Kansas than the quessers expected. We had poor wheat as well--generally anything double cropped behind soybeans--but even that is making more than the 10 bushels we expected. Guess I'm actually going to be able to fill the $5-$6 contracts I was worried about.
