Eastern Iowa | I think your rates are fair. Do you do drop spraying too? I can but despise it. Last year I charged $10/acre and $500 minimum. This avoids the I need 10 acres sprayed and its 30 miles away call. Takes too long to set up for small jobs. Last year also got a dribbling call and the farmer had yellow streaks and I was to section off the green rows at every end. I was too far behind on spraying so turned that one down. Amazing the things some farmers expect custom applicators to do. Also the reason most retailers don't own drop nozzles! | |
