Subject: Re: Dozer radiator fan

We had a similar issue with a Case 821 front-end loader that had an oil leak coming off the front cover. They had the option for a pulling fan but was told by the Case parts guy that if we didn't get some type of special adaptor for the radiator, the reversed air and combination of dust, dirt would tear the radiator up. The special adaptor was like $700 or something so I decided to fix the oil leak. We also have a Cleanfix reversible fans on our Versatile 2210 tractor. We had a slight leak on the hydraulic cooler and the Cleanfix fan did not do a very good job of keeping that radiator clean as the dirt would cling to it too well that it couldn't be simply blown off.
