SWOH | After dodging traffic this spring...it's nice to hear a story like this. That kind of thing happens to me every now and then and I try to remember it when somebody else looks like they need a little traffic control. We have a few roads around here that run at a slant and there's usually trees at those corners (I don't know why they're still there, if they were on my property they'd be gone) and you can't see one way or the other. Cross traffic doesn't have to stop. I've had people stop at the stop sign on the other side of the road and when they realize I'm having a hard time seeing they get out of their car and let me know when it's clear to go. I don't expect it to happen but it's nice to know there's a few nice people still out there. I'm sure that guy that helped you already knows how much you appreciated his help. | |
