I have another question with regards to the JD seed boot. Why is the boot open on the inside next to the disc opener? My thinking is that this causes some of the seed to be kicked up and out on top of the ground even with new white seed flaps installed. Seems it would lay the seed down in the furrow bettter if boot was narrower and not open to the disc. Just my mind wondering while drilling in the mud.
