North Central Illinois
Growing up I was a huge fan of their early stuff and didn't care much for their later hippie days. Now, while still a fan of their early music I am really starting to appreciate some of their later efforts. Some of it is just awful but there are some later songs that were really quite masterful. When it gets right down to it Paul McCartney is probably one of it not the best singer songwriter in modern music history. The guy is a hell of a showman too. He can still rock it at age 70 something. I would love to see him in concert but I am just too cheap to spend the money. He is possibly doing a concert at Wrigley field in Chicago this summer. I'm sure tickets will be several hundred bucks. Besides, I can't feature Wrigley field being a good place to attend a concert.
