Subject: 9370 CaseIH a/c fan isn't blowing like it should

Crawfordsville, Arkansas
Its a 1998 Quadtrac. Same as the 9370 Steiger tractor. Over the past few days the a/c fan has seemed to slow down and not put out enough airflow. Yesterday we checked the freon level and it was right, checked the radiator coolers and they got washed out so they are spotless clean. The tractor is putting out 13.7 to 14.1 volts so its got enough juice to run everything properly. We pulled the left side cover off the a/c unit under the hood and cleaned everything in there really well. The evaporator core got washed out and not much came out so we feel its pretty clean. Pretty much everything that can be cleaned is clean and its still not putting out enough air.

Can the fan motor be going out? Never had one slow down like this, usually they just go out or lock up. Could the resistor be going bad and not passing enough current? I didn't see any frayed wires and everything seemed to be in its proper place.

The air coming out the vents is cool, there's just not enough of it.
