Jackson County, AL | We leave the field in whatever auxiliary gear we plan on pulling on the scales with. Ours aux doesn't shift well at all and the truck has the least power of any you can imagine. Usually we use 3rd on the road and just use the 5 speed. This is on a Ford gas tandem with the most gutless 427 in the world. Planning to buy a new truck and use the hoist and bed to finally be done with it. Shame too because it drives very well, has good brakes and tires, and a good body. | |
