west central MN | It is as wet as its been since 1996 as far as planting season goes. We have been 80 percent planted for two weeks and cant seem to getmuch more. Tried again today and after switching the planter over from beans to corn , we got 15 acres done. I guess it could be worse as it is for some. We do have a good start on the beans, but that too leaves all of the wetter fields left to go. about half done with them. At least the wheat looks good, and the corn stands are good. | |
