What that looks to me like, judging by the map and the direction of travel is that his swath control is probably set for more than a 1 sec turn on time and it was anticipating turning on and by the time the operator hit the master off it had flipped the end on. Judging by how long the spot is in the waterway and the operator was probably running at least 15 mph, even if he hit the master off right at the time the right boom tip shut off it probably takes .5 sec to get fully turned off, that is still 10 ft by the time it got shut off assuming the operator was perfect in shutting the master off. If he was any delayed, as we all are it would make that much worse.

I can't see how that is Deere's fault.

If you want to stop that then need to make sure there is a boundary on the fields, or when coming to a water way like that use the manual switches to turn off your outside sections.

I haven't heard of any sprayers in our area turn on end nozzles with the master off.
