Local retailer told me 2 idiots were mixing chemicals at the calcium carbide plant in Kentucky and screwed up, which blew up the plant. They had gotten their first shipment of calcium carbide imported but didn't know when the next would be.
Sounds like it is going to be a long slow situation.
