my wife and i built ours last year and moved in in nov, one of the best ideas told to me by cousin was to use hanging trusses and therefore no steps from garage into house. as we get older not having to carry groc up steps into house will be nice. also we have view out and walk out basement so doesn't have basement feel to it. and with storms fraidy hole is nice for security.
We started building a house. Finally.....
