I have mine set up like you are talking 4 rows per section (except rows 13,14,15 is the section of just 3). Did some playing around with setting up as 3 rows per section and even 2 row sections and it worked fine. I just decided in beans i would rather have more overlap and just make sure the beans are there. I changed my implement offsets to add the distance to the back rows as my documentation point. (i didnt use the back 5 that stick out farther as the back i used the rest of the back row distance) With my measurements i have mine set at i think 1.2 on and .3 off. I think in corn i had it set for .7 on and .3 off. I would go out to my pickup and look in my book i write down all my setting in but its raining again but i can look in the morning if you want the numbers exactly what i use.
