When I was full-time and had small kids, yes, I had someone come in every 2 weeks.  A life-saver.  SOoooooooo nice to come home to a nice clean house when she'd been here.   Did a world of wonders for everyone's outlook around here.  Improved my mood, and by association, everyone else's mood as well. 

My vote.............like it counted.................would be go for it!!!  and Enjoy!  As long as you don't ask your MIL or mother to pay for it, they have no say in the matter.

((The ultimate MIL story I've ever heard came from my husband's cousin.  She married into a prominent farming family and her MIL was quite the matriarch.  Each week, the DIL made out a shopping list for the grocery store, took it to her MIL for her review, edit and approval, and then received exactly enough money to purchase exactly the items on the list.  Bet you think that marriage lasted.))
