| luke, we are nw of manhattan about an hour, we dont have as good of grass as you have out that way, we are up around 200-220 for cow calf pairs ( 6 ac/pair). the one pasture we are paying that high for has excellent fence and landowner takes care of fixing it every year. we have a couple others that are lower than that price but fences are not great and i have to run around and fix them myself. there are alot of different ways you can go about renting pastures, and lots of variables. i think if you have good fence and good water on the place you should take it, but that is my opinion.i hope this helps | |
