Hope this dosen't get too long. New to me sidekick that came on 854 Rogator. 1st attempt to test = blown fuse. Pump was stuck, got freed up, ran w/ battery and seemed to be ok. Put back in, hooked up and fuse blew when inserted, the power to the console in the cab was off at the time. Traced wires from battery to cab and all seemed ok. Unhooked connector @ console, no short. Hooked back up, had short. Took console apart to look for anything obvious and saw nothing. Put back together and now it works, running on a 25 amp fuse. All seemed well, but when testing I keep getting a flow error even though the flow display is reading correct ( target volume is 24 oz.). Did the 50 oz. calibration check and everything was spot on. Corrects for booms being turned off and on fine, just keep getting a flow error. As far as I can tell this was last used in '09. Came w/ gly. residue inside but looked clean in the check valves. This is the older belt driven pump as well. Thanks for any help, Mike.
