| I mowed the first of our first cutting 19 days ago, mowed some more yesterday and it looks like it could be the first of next week or later before we can mow again. Almost zero hay has been made around here so far and think people are taking bets on if the hay I mowed yesterday will get rained on Thursday but we are raking it now to bale tomorrow but some of it would bale tonight if we wanted. We went to a hay conditioner this year hoping to cut at least half a day off our drying time but between the conditioner and rotary rake we might be closer to cutting 2 days off compared to using a straight disk mower and a bar rake.
