Centre county Pennsylvania, USA

Local basis for #2 yellow corn delivered Aug 31 2011 was posted at +$1.20 on market close last Friday ( May 13, 2011).

That's only $8.02 delivered cash price, not enough to prompt any bin sweeping here yet. Local corn farmers are holding out for $9.00, or $4.00, whichever comes 1st :)
