West Ky
These are the things that I stated a couple of weeks back on here when we started flooding and it was of course going to go south. I stated that back in 05 when it flooded down their from Katrina that the grains fell and the basis widened so much here that all we could get was .80 cents a bushel for corn. Not to mention all the refineries and chemical companies through out the Miss. R. delta.
I also brought up and continually bring up all these acres that are going to be going under water and has ruined the crop. I heard that potentially 40% of the rice crop was devastated in the floods. Lots of corn and cotton going under also. Their is a guy around here that farms I think around 10k acres in Lousiana that is going under. It is all in corn.
