Subject: How does waas inaccuracy work?

Tip of the Thumb of Michigan
I have an ez guide 500 that we put ezsteer on this winter. I was just doing a trial run with our mounted NH3 bar and when I turn around the passes are parallel, but could be off 8 or 10 inches. These pass are only about 200 yards as that's the only dry ground I have. Is that how waas acts? Would omni XP solve most of that? Thanks.
