Iowa | I disagree. He understands that this war was brought upon us, and that Bush had the larger part in instigating both wars. The fact that this came under Obama doesn't really matter, and he touched on that during the speech last night. It's sort of comparable to when we landed on the moon. It happened under Tricky Dick, and he realized that the whole program was the responsibility of Kennedy and Johnson, and he took no credit for it, which was commendable. Because then he took a big crap all over NASA, but that is a story for another day.
So far from internet sites I have been scanning today, I don't really see any credit given to Bush or Obama, mainly to the troops who did the deed. | |
