Dietrich, Idaho and Mountain Home, Idaho | Late this winter I rewired the smartsteer I have in one of our tractors for a more permanent installation. One thing I did so that I didn't have unplug it all the time or remember to flip a switch at the end of the day was to use two relays to control both the HC and Logic powers leads. I use the red power wire from the cruizer interface cable to power both of these relays so that when the cruizer is powered up it also powers the smartsteer. When the cruizer is powered down then the smartsteer is powered down and then it won't be draining the battery. |
