| I'm currently looking at putting up a hoop to feed cattle in. Looks like a pretty good setup for a few head. If you google, "feeding cattle in hoops" you should get some hits. University of IA has done some work with it, and, supposedly, there's an extension agent in the Fairfield IA office that has worked with some operations. I like the ability to control runoff and manure. When you get done, you should be able to just windrow what comes out of the building and compost it. At this point, I'm having a hard time seeing downsides to it. | |
