Subject: Sog Factor vs Crunch Quotient

West Texas

There was a time I actually got to use the Sog Factor in describing climatic conditions, but that was a good many years ago. The Crunch Quotient, alas, is what I'm forced to resort to, day in and day out. Since the C.Q. is open ended, like the F-scale for tornados, or the one for earthquakes, you'll understand what I mean when I describe conditions as being CQ 8.9 today, with 9.2 forecast for tomorrow. Whereas you guys with too darn much water are getting tired of SF 9's and 10's, judging from the comments in earlier posts.  ;-D
