Butterfield, MN | If you are running SmartSteer with a Cruizer, you will have 4 DB-9 plugs coming from the Node cable. 1 is much longer and plugs right into the back of the Cruizer. The other 3 are much shorter, and only two are used, being plugged into the -794 cable. The 4th unused plug is the SmarTrax Update plug. When I've done this update, I've just plugged the SmarTrax update plug into the back of the Cruizer, but it looks like you can actually plug right into the -794 cable with it. This would actually be pretty nice, since otherwise that cable is so short, I always had to unmount the Cruizer and take it down by the plug on the cable, wherever it was burried away. If you can just swap the plugs and make it work, it should be pretty easy. | |
