EC, AR | You would only need to buy a July call which has alot less time premium than the Dec. July expire third week of June. The crop will be in or not by then and move will be made in price. Most years price high is in May or early June-- the high from fear of not getting planted. Now if all acres are in and price retreats there could be another opportunity if we start getting hot and dry for July and August--then buy Sept call no need for Dec because by Aug we will have a crop or not. | |
