Woodstock, Ontario | Revisiting an old post here but similar issues. I've created all my boundaries in sms and transferred to the CF card, making sure i deleted the pre-existing .cn1 file. Problem is i'm not getting an automatic importing of field names, boundaries ect. And in the "import" section i'm given 4 options, non of which would seem to be what i'm after. All the previously existing data from years past (w/o gps connected for mapping) is still present. I even powered down, pulled the card, re started and the old data is still there. I've altered some of the field names and groupings a bit so i can tell if it worked but I'm kinda stuck.
I'm going to re-try creating my export file in sms and see if i made a mistake last time. Should i be going through "data management" and deleting all my old data then inserting my CF with the new stuff?
I'm running the newest versions of both sms and my pro 600 software.
