I use the standard humidity probe laid on the top of the windrow with the tip facing the direction of the evening breeze. You have to learn where you want to set the relative humidity alarm, I usually have mine set at 80% but as the tonnage gets smaller you will want to set it less. With the cell phone version you can call the unit and interogate it to find out what the RH is were with the radio version you cannot do that.
