Redwood Falls, MN | I'm looking at the MapShots software. Was wondering about experience with it vs Farmworks. One thing I would have a hard time giving up from Farmworks is the drawing tools. I use them a lot for cutting up fields to draw varieties, headlands, application maps for Flexicoil and just measuring lengths and areas.
I use my Pocket PC to do a lot of data input and scouting from the field. I think they have similar on this. I like being able to view and print maps of multiple fields laid out by actual location to each other. It looks like they can do this. This is a big problem with JD software!
What I'm looking for is more reports that are easy to put together and make sense. I just don't get much out of Farmworks in this area.
When I used Ag Leader's trial software I really liked their reports. I also liked all the maps I could print out like productivity.
