Turn your turn off look ahead down and the turn on look ahead down also. That should help out. You need to make sure you have the measurements of the planter hitch to application point and the tractor hitch and gps to axle offsets correct also. which clutches are you runnning? Surestops or which kind? I have noticed that on most of these planters that when you drop the look ahead about a tenth of a second it gains or adds about a foot to the distance the seed travels. Kind of depends on what type of seed meter you are running but it should be close depending on vac or finger pickup. If you have any more questions just holler back. I find it hard to believe that tech support couldnt tell you which way to go but maybe it was a new person. If you can't get it to quit leaving a skip coming out then you need to adjust your distance settings for the planter or vehicle.
