Subject: JD 4250 starter removal?

If I remember right this is next to impossible for the average tool set. Is the back bolt, the one you can't see of course, a different head configuration? 12 point real shallow socket or am I thinking of something else. Of course the front side needs the real shallow depth but a skinny extension lets you break it loose, but can't back it out hardly any with a regular depth socket. Any advice appreciated.

Solenoid must be bad / stuck or something. 12 volts to the activation terminal gets no response.

TIA Don
