The above post is correct about the speed. I believe you may also need to "turn on" another NEMA messages for the Viper.

We change the output speed on most of the 1500's that we sell by using an Ag Leader display since they have the ability to do this. There are other ways to change the output of the 1500 but that is the easiest way for us.

The 1500's come set from the factory at the slower speed so they can work with the older Ag Leader products right out of the box.

The newer Ag Leader displays can work with a wide range of speeds. The slower speed is OK for certain situations such as harvesting. A faster speed is desirable and often required for other operations such as steering, row clutches, etc.
