Dodge County, WI | OK. Heres the deal.
We got a DCM 300C modem from our case dealer, and it came with NO documentation about how to hook it up. this website ( http://www.farmworks.com/products/dcm-300modem ) shows pictures of the two sets of cables it came with. The dealer is pretty inexperienced, so I am double checking them. I have a few questions.
What is Asset Tracking? Do we need it?
Does the modem get its GPS information (to figure out which towers to get correction data from) through the little patch antenna, or from our FM750?
Does it provide corrections through the USB port? This was indicated on an earlier post I found here.
What does the picture mean when they point to some of the cable ends and say "Future Expansion"?
Does anyone have a Trimble wiring diagram like they usually provide with clear pictures and parts lists? That would clear a lot of this baloney up.
