Soutwest Ks.
I can only answer part of your question. I've had better luck mounting my antennae on a bracket that is a little to the front and above the hood than the roof mount. I felt it improved pass to pass accuracy, however Outback techs argue this and tell me it won't work. I feel without terrain compensation every foot that you get that antennae above ground gives more variability, so consequently I wanted it lower than the top of the cab. I along with several of my friends are running the Outback Baseline HD in this area. We can't seem to get the level of accuracy Outback claims. What has been your experience?
