I just put a relay not so long ago so I do not think thats it. Its weird, I can crank and crank and it tries to start but won'e quite take off and then go back 5 minutes later and it starts up fine.
when you go back in 5mins and it starts,that because you have built up the heat in the cylinders that it needs to fire and start. that is what the relay and glow plugs is for. so either a bad relay or glowplugs. i`ve never done it but there is a process of jumping across the posts of the relay and see if that acuate the relay and starts. |
How hard and expensive to put glow plugs in 7.3 diesel?
