Its interesting that all the tractors have wide single tires on them, the planters just plant into the wheel track. I wonder if it has ever been studied, maybe we would have less compaction issues and better yield response by doubling our tire width and planting directly into it?
With duals the tractors would be too wide for the narrow roads in europe.Thats one reason for the large singles.
