| I have a 10,000 bushel dryer bin on my property. I have been renting it to my neighbor/friend for the last 10 years for 10 cents a bushel per year. I am wondering how much this bin would be worth if somebody would come move it to their yard.
The neighbor was suppose to rent this bin and my 2 smaller bins (a 3000 and a 3500 bushel) all for 10 cents/bu/yr, but he claims that the smaller ones are too much work to empty and only fills and pays for the big one. It seems like he needs to empty it only in the spring or after a rain and rips my yard up. And getting paid is like pulling teeth.
If I could get a decent amount for it, I might just let it go and invest the money elsewhere. But I dont even know where to start on a asking price, and maybe nobody wants to mess around with only a 10,000 bushel bin either.
