Nusbaum Farms LLC Bellfountain, OR | Have you tried just getting "rough" with the lever? Our 1600 will get stuck in reverse occasionally and has even gotten caught between two gears, but we've never actually had to take anything apart to free it. I'm thinking either the lever or the slots in the rails are worn enough to cause the problem. On ours, it helps greatly to come to a full stop before shifting and to very carefully shift in straight lines.
