michigan | what are everyones feelings on selling new crop corn jan delivery @ -.30 under the march and then buying a call for dec. right now a dec. call would be expensive if you want to buy in the money but to go too far out it is even more of a gamble as corn would really have to go up before any benefit. what would be the best way to protect your self without pissing alot of money away. i know $ 6.30 is a good price for corn but just wondering what to do if new corn goes up another $2.00 like they talked about on us farm report saturday. | |
