Ask you friendly JD dealer for a copy of DTAC solution 2280. That DTAC provides details for connecting brand x GPS position receiver to GS1 harness. If your friendly JD dealer is unable to provide that DTAC, drop me an email and I will return an imaged copy of it.

We used that DTAC to connect a Garmin 17 to a GS1 system and used it to map yields for several years. We are now using a Starfire iTC for yield mapping but yield map quality has not improved enough to pay for that position receiver upgrade. Both receivers have been trouble free but JD yield mapping software has not been trouble free for us. JD's original JDmap was trouble free but JDOffice has some quirks that can cause permanent loss of data files if you don't read the user guide, very carefully. No experience with JD's Apex software here.
