Subject: 1000 cankers disease in black walnut trees

Silver Lake, Kansas
Since the post below was on trees thought I would mention 1000 cankers disease in black walnut trees. If you don't know what it is look it up on your department of ag web site or extension. If you can't find it look at the Kansas Dept. of Ag site. Sounds like it will be the Dutch Elm disease of Walnuts. States really want farmers, ranchers, outdoorsmen and women to learn about it, how to recognize it and to report any locations where it is at. Mrs. Farmer
