NC Iowa | This photo is of my Dad and my sister looking at a wall placque I had selected for myself from items from my folks' house as they were downsizing to ready for moving into an apartment..2/09 A few months later, he was having health problems-I've posted here about it...He passed away a year ago... He was discharged from his engineering company--or division??...Anyway, his company was completely massacred a few months later..
another in a long list of "I shouldn't be here's" I got to thinking about this last night after posting about driving off a dead end
The text of the placque: The clock of life is wound but once, and no man has the power To tell just when the hands will stop, At late or early hour.
Now is the only time you own; Live, love, toil with a will; Place no faith in tomorrow, for The hands may then be still. and the clock reads 11:52
